Frequently Asked Questions

Welcome to our FAQ section. If you’re planning a trip to the United Kingdom and want to apply for the UK ETA (Electronic Travel Authorisation), this page will answer the most common questions people ask before applying.

What is a UK ETA?

The UK ETA (Electronic Travel Authorisation) is a new entry requirement for visa-exempt nationals visiting the UK for short stays such as tourism, business, transit, or short-term study. It is linked electronically to your passport.

🛬 Who needs a UK ETA?

Currently, citizens from the following countries need an ETA before traveling to the UK:

  • Qatar

  • United Arab Emirates (UAE)

  • Saudi Arabia

  • Bahrain

  • Oman

  • Kuwait

  • Jordan

More countries will be added to the list in the future.

⏱️ How long does it take to get a UK ETA?

Most UK ETA applications are processed within 1–3 working days. However, in some cases, it may take longer, so it is advised to apply at least 72 hours before your travel date.

📄 What documents are required?

You only need a few things to apply:

  • A valid passport (biometric photo page)

  • A passport-style photograph or selfie

  • Personal and travel information (name, date of birth, address, etc.)

  • A valid email address

  • A working payment method (Visa, Mastercard, etc.)

💳 Do I have to pay anything for the UK ETA?

Yes, there is an official government fee charged for the ETA. In addition, we charge a professional service fee for reviewing your documents, submitting your application, and ensuring a smooth approval process.

All fees are disclosed before final payment.

🔒 Is this the official UK government website?

No. We are a private visa assistance agency and are not affiliated with the UK government. We provide support services to help customers complete their ETA application accurately and quickly. You can apply directly on the official website, but many travelers prefer expert help to avoid mistakes or delays.

📧 How will I receive my ETA?

Once approved, your UK ETA will be sent to your email address. You do not need to print it — it will be digitally linked to your passport.

🛑 Can I get a refund if my ETA is rejected?

Unfortunately, no. All payments are final once your application has been submitted. Please ensure your details are correct before completing the application.
